Methuen Construction engaged The Turner Group (TTG) to provide architectural and engineering services for the redevelopment of a recently purchased 175,000-square-foot facility on a 37-acre site in Plaistow, NH.

Following a comprehensive building assessment, TTG’s engineering team recommended demolishing approximately 20,000 square feet of the existing structure to make way for a new 40,000-square-foot office building. The remaining portions of the facility were determined to be structurally sound and well-suited for reuse. TTG’s design included new siding, façade enhancements, and interior renovations to modernize and reconfigure the space.

As part of the project, TTG also conducted an assessment to support the installation of a 30,000-square-foot rooftop solar array, further enhancing the facility’s energy efficiency.

The completed project now serves as Methuen Construction’s headquarters, housing both office staff and plant operations. This investment not only modernized the company’s workspace but also increased its capacity to take on larger, more complex structural steel, modular, and prefabricated projects across a broader regional market.
