The Turner Group was selected by the Auburn School District to provide architectural and engineering services for the assessment, full design, and construction administration of the Auburn Village School K-8 renovation and addition project.
Our team conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the existing facility and site, analyzing age, condition, remaining useful life, and overall functionality. This included a full code compliance review, projections for future needs, and a detailed cost analysis of design options. The resulting facility and site assessment informed the district’s long-term master plan and became a key reference for budgeting, maintenance strategies, and phased implementation of improvements.
The project included a 38,000 square foot addition and 37,000 square feet of renovations. This $14 million effort incorporated space planning, program planning, conceptual design, and site optimization. Staff dialogues and broad community engagement played a critical role in shaping a design that supports both educational goals and future flexibility for the school. The upgraded facility now meets the needs of a growing student population and reflects the district’s vision for a modern, inclusive learning environment.
