New Locker Room Facilities at Keene Ice for Keene State Hockey

The Turner Group is proud to support Keene State College as their men’s and women’s ice hockey programs make the exciting leap to NCAA Division III competition. As part of this milestone, we’ve partnered with DEW Construction to deliver upgraded team spaces at Keene Ice that match the energy, ambition, and pride of the program’s next chapter.

Our team provided architectural and structural engineering services for the design of the new locker rooms, team offices, showers, and support spaces. These improvements are designed not just for function, but to enhance the full student-athlete experience. The goal is to create a professional, welcoming environment that supports performance, team culture, and growth.

The Turner Group developed the initial conceptual layout in close coordination with DEW Construction. The plans helped establish the project budget and allowed DEW to prepare for design-build delivery of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. From concept through construction, our team remained fully engaged, coordinating with subcontractors, answering questions during bidding, reviewing submittals and material test reports, and making regular site visits to ensure the construction aligned with the design intent.

These new spaces are already making an impact. Thoughtfully designed and built through strong collaboration, they reflect a shared commitment to supporting student-athletes and enhancing the overall campus experience.
